Definitions for language you will see on Trust Cam Rating and on the platforms we cover. Exact brand wording differs; always read the host site’s own help pages for authoritative rules.
Money and sessions
- Token / credit / gold
- Virtual currency purchased in bundles and spent inside the site. Effective value depends on bundle size, promos, and your currency.
- Tip
- A voluntary token gift, often used in public chat to reward a performer or reach a displayed tip menu item.
- Tip goal / goal show
- A target amount the room tries to hit to unlock an act or next segment. May be time-boxed or reset if not reached.
- Private show
- A paid one-to-one session billed per minute or as a block, with rules set by the performer and platform.
- True private / exclusive
- A private mode where third-party viewers are not allowed to watch (distinct brands use different names).
- Spy / voyeur
- A mode where you watch someone else’s private session at a reduced rate, usually without two-way audio/video.
- Group show
- Multiple viewers share the cost (ticket or per-minute) to reach a performance, depending on implementation.
Interaction
- Cam2cam (C2C)
- The viewer turns on their webcam so the performer can see them; often optional and sometimes surcharged.
- Lovense / interactive toy
- Hardware that reacts to tips on a schedule or intensity curve defined by the performer.
- Whisper / PM
- Private text chat between viewer and performer; may cost tokens or require membership.
People and organizations
- Independent model
- A performer who primarily manages their own broadcast and payouts, subject to the platform’s rules.
- Studio
- A business that provides space, equipment, compliance, or scheduling for models under contract; policies vary by region.
- Moderator (mod)
- A user or staff member enforcing room rules, timing, or spam control.
