Editorial policy
Trust Cam Rating exists to give adult viewers clear, repeatable comparisons between cam platforms. This page explains how we protect editorial independence, handle updates, and separate journalism-style reviews from commercial relationships.
Independence and conflicts
- No paid placement. Platforms cannot pay to appear higher in our rankings or to receive a minimum score.
- Scoring before partnerships. Rankings reflect our methodology first. Affiliate relationships, when they exist, are not negotiated as a condition of coverage.
- No staff bounty for upsells. Editors are not compensated on “conversion” targets from specific brands.
How we test
Every ranked site is evaluated using the same public framework (weights, criteria definitions, and evidence notes). Details appear on How we test. When we cannot verify a claim (for example a regional payout rule), we say so and fall back to what we could confirm in-session.
Updates and corrections
Pricing models, feature rollouts, and apps change. We schedule periodic re-checks and update review pages when material facts shift (token bundles, verification flows, support channels). If you believe we published something inaccurate about a platform’s consumer-facing policy, write to [email protected] with a source or screenshot; we review every good-faith report and correct errors.
Affiliate links
Outbound “visit” links may include affiliate parameters. They do not change our scores. Read the full Affiliate disclosure.
